DESCRIPTION:Working bees are on the 1st Saturdays of the month\, starting about 2.30 pm. \nEveryone is welcome to come once\, every now and then\, or every time. It’s good to check before you come via email or facebook. \nThe garden has been planted with native plants that have been and continue to be used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as food\, and for tools\, medicine and craft. The aim is to help group members\, local residents and visitors learn about and appreciate (a small part of) Indigenous Culture and Knowledge.

DESCRIPTION:Walton Bridge bushcare is on the first Saturday of every month except January. The working bee starts at 3:30 pm and goes until 5:30 pm\, daylight permitting. \nThe bushcare site is located along the creek banks where Fish Creek joins Enoggera Creek at Walton Bridge Reserve 941 Waterworks Road The Gap. \nYou need to wear boots\, gloves\, a hat and appropriate clothing. It’s also advisable to apply insect repellent and sunscreen. Children must be accompanied by an adult. \nWalton Bridge is part of the Brisbane City Council Habitat Brisbane program. The group leader is Anne Jones telephone 0438 047 910.
