About Saul Griffith
Saul was a key advisor and designer of the game-changing US legislation, a $369 billion investment in electrifying US homes and kickstarting a clean energy and manufacturing boom. He returned to Australia in 2021 to steer his home country on an ambitious yet achievable path to address the climate and cost of living crisis while helping every household reduce their energy bills. Saul established non-profit research and advocacy organisation, Rewiring Australia, to carry out this crucial work, which supports and connects with local community groups.
‘We need a realistic and achievable vision for the future because the future is coming fast. We have only about one-quarter of one century, twenty-five years, one human generation, to get ourselves out of this climate quandary. If we get this right, if we design the incentives and the policies and the regulations correctly, communities will thrive. Every Australian will benefit economically, socially and even health-wise. So let’s hit the road.‘
