Boomerang Bags The Gap and Surrounds is a friendly group of volunteers who sew various kinds of bags and other practical or decorative items from donated, unwanted fabric.

Our mission is to reduce society’s reliance on plastic bags and their associated environmental issues, whilst also tackling the problem of textile waste and making community connections.

Come and join us every Fridays 9.30am-12pm during school terms and experience the happy group of volunteers! No experience required. BYO sewing machine if you can, or use one of our spares.
