This Saturday, 10am at the Walton Bridge Lions meeting place, Jackie Huggins AM FAHA and Ngaire Jarro (nee Huggins) will launch the new book Jack of Hearts. Jackie is well known Aboriginal Australian author, historian, academic and advocate for the rights of Indigenous Australians. She is a Bidjara/Pitjara, Birri Gubba and Juru woman from Queensland and supported our November community event together with family members telling the story of their journey to The Gap and love for its beautiful environment. Ngaire Jarro (nee Huggins) is also from Bidjara/Birri Gubba Juru nations. Hopefully many community members will attend this exciting event.
