Thank you to Peter and Bob, who cleared A LOT of lantana to take us on a special walk in the D’Aguilar National park. So close to The Gap and so far at the same time, with huge trees, many native grasses and plants, and beautiful clear streams. We discussed whether platypus could live here, and while much of the habitat could be conducive, the risks through feral cats, dogs and pigs is probably too high. The walk allowed us to have some deep discussions about the path forward and many ideas were shared.
