Prof Hugh Possingham Queensland Chief Scientist was our guest speaker on the 26th April. We are very grateful for the amazing presentation that Prof Possingham gave. He explained the importance of tackling climate change and spoke to us about the actions every person can undertake to improve the outlook for the world. He also encouraged us to undertake the projects we had established in our strategic plan and showed us how to use mathematical and economic methods for decision making and planning of conservation efforts. We are very grateful to Prof Possingham for speaking to us and inspiring the next generation to focus on sustainable actions.
