Have you recently needed a doctor’s appointment or been to a hospital? You may notice that appointments are hard to get and waiting times may be long. In part this may be due to the strains on the health system from the impact of climate change. A new national government report lists “increasing temperatures and the impact on food-, water- and vector-borne diseases, food and water security” among some of the reasons for the strain on the health system and society overall, and asks for your opinion on how best to respond to those threats. The consultation survey is open until 24th July.
