This year we were so lucky to host the most inspiring seminar speakers including the Queensland Chief Scientist, and the upcoming seminar on the 8th of November will again be an outstanding event. Prof Leonie Barner is the Director Centre for a Waste-Free World at the Queensland University of Technology and bring a raft of practical solutions that can be implemented in schools and school communities. This is so important in The Gap, where all of our schools are in highly sensitive ecological areas of the suburb, bordering either Enoggera or Fish Creeks. Of course schools are also leading the way for change in the wider community around them, especially through their important influence on the younger generation.
Our next community seminar 8th November
